Let's Celebrate Fet Ghede 2008 together!

At this time, we have not completely solidified our teaching schedule for the Conference 2008 Weekend. (This page will be updated periodically.) However, be assured that it will be an opportunity of a lifetime to learn magickal secrets and teachings, participate in rituals, and learn from the experts. A list of the events already planned for this upcoming convention is below. MUCH MORE to come!!!

• There will be a special ritual for Fet Ghede during which we will create ouanga bottles that you will take home to use throughout the year.
• Workshop to start learning the Priye Guinea (the long African prayer that opens Vodou Ceremonies).
• Workshop of Vodou songs.
• Ancient Secrets Workshop!! Yes, we are doing it again! This workshop is a "closed door" workshop where secret information is taught by Mambo Sam. This is information that she does not feel comfortable teaching online and can only be taught in person. It was a great workshop in 2007!
• Voodoo Doll workshop: Each participant will make their own Voodoo Doll for whatever purpose they desire. This will be blessed and you will take it home with you. All materials (except personal bio samples) will be provided.
• Herbal Workshop: We will work with actual herbs in making magickal bags, bath bags, etc., using specific herbs for specific purposes. All materials will be provided.
• Opportunity to do a one-on-one, personal, private ritual with Mambo Sam: This will be available to the first 25 registrants who are paid in full. This unique opportunity will afford you the chance to work a ritual with Mambo Sam. You and Mambo will work the ritual on whatever goal you desire. You will receive a sacred object from this ritual to take home with you to continue the work from the ritual.

The cost of the conference includes all events, workshops, lectures, classes, written course materials, entertainment, a cocktail reception on Friday night of the conference and dinner on Saturday night of the conference. There will be many classes as well as hands on workshops where you will actively participate in the creation of sacred magickal objects, be taught to use them, and take them home with you!

All workshops and classes are "behind closed doors" and no press or media will be present. Your confidentiality is assured. Picture taking is done ONLY with permission and even with permission is extremely limited and controlled.

Due to the extraordinary service we received, we are proud to announce that we will return to theAlbuquerque MCM Elegante for the 2008 Conference. (Please use reservation code SHEER when making your reservations to assure that you receive the special conference rate for your room.) This is a hotel that offers us many amenities for our participants who do not live in Albuquerque. The Elegante offers a free shuttle to and from the airport as well as a free shuttle to and from many Albuquerque attractions including Old Town, casinos, and various other locations. In addition to offering a daily free full, hot breakfast, the Elegante also has a full service restaurant as well as other restaurants within walking distance. The Elegante also offers free cocktails in the evenings for guests, an indoor pool, high speed internet, and much more. Participants who stay at the Elegante for the Conference should be able to do fine without a rental car unless you want to explore the City and State further. Guests of the 2007 Conference were on a first-name basis with the friendly shuttle drivers from the Elegante' and utilized their services liberally!

• The price of the convention ($500.00) include all events of the convention including the cocktail party, Saturday night dinner, classes, workshops, and all materials.
• Dates: October 31, November 1, and November 2, 2008 (Please note: The rituals with Mambo Sam will take place through November 3, 2008 and can also be done October 30 if anyone is coming in early.)
  • October 31: Halloween cocktail party in the evening! Fun time to meet and greet!!
  • November 1: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. - A variety of classes and events. Group dinner at night.
  • November 2: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - A variety of classes and events. (People will be able to make a late plane if they need to be home for work on Monday.)
  • November 3: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is not technically a conference day, however, a limited number of personal spiritual counseling sessions with Mambo Sam will be available. (These sessions are FREE, but will only be available to a limited number of participants. This will be on a "first come, first served" basis and will be available to the earliest registrants for the conference. After discussing it for some time, this is the only fair way we could figure out to do it.)
• Pricing will also include all written and/or audio teaching materials for each class offered.
• You will be responsible for your hotel room at the Albuquerque MCM Elegante and airfare.
• We will do a "product sales" room at the convention offering our products at steep discounts for participants.
• The fee for the convention itself is $500.00 which you can pay all at once or you may choose a payment plan. Full payment upon registration guarantees you a personal spiritual session with Mambo Sam.
• Your participation in this conference is completely confidential. No pictures will be taken without express permission. Each participant will fill out their own name tag so no information is shared that you don't want to share.
• Every participant will receive a special conference package.
• Spellmaker and Sheer Goddess products will be available and deeply discounted for participants.
• Mambo Sam, Parran Matt, and their New Orleans Voodoo family will bless any items you bring throughout the conference.
• There will be an altar set up so you can bring offerings for Les Lois (the lwa).
• There will be drawings for prizes!
• Just to be clear (as there was some confusion last year): The rituals/consultation with Mambo Sam will be available on a first-registered and paid-in-full/first-served basis. Every effort will be made to give a free private consultation to each participant. However, only the first 25 people registered and paid in full will be guaranteed this one-on-one private opportunity. We expect that this conference will sell out. If you desire to have the one-on-one ritual done with Mambo Sam, it is suggested that you register early.
