QUESTION: You mentioned using regular and deluxe love dolls together. I have the deluxe love doll, and also the pair of dolls that came with the deluxe love spell. I haven't done anything with them in a while,they're just tucked away in a pretty box in a compromising position. Can they be combined with the deluxe love doll, candles, etc too?I really liked the info about combining candles and doll work. It
saves waiting 45 minutes between them! I especially was interested to hear the communication work with the white figures & red mummy.

Mambo's Note: Many of you have reported back that using the communication work with the white image candles and the red mummy has been awesome!! I am so glad to hear that it is working so well for you! :-)

ANSWER: Definitely all of the dolls can be used together. Obviously if you had a regular doll, switched to a deluxe, and then did the deluxe love spell, you are going to have quite a collection of dolls to work on your HD with. This is not a bad thing and there are a lot of variations that you can do.

First of all, I would like to let you know that it is okay to get creative with some of the things that you are using. The main issues I see with people getting creative is that they end up wanting to add in things that they bought elsewhere. I am really not a proponent of this, mainly because you don't always know what you are getting! People ask me all the time if they can use some oil from Madame Foufou's shop on something such as their love doll. The answer is always, “no.” And it isn't because I am trying to be selfish, it's because I don't know what's in that oil, how it is consecrated, if it even is consecrated. Therefore, it is very difficult to know what might happen with it.

So other than that, after a period of time of working with my products, you should feel free to get creative to some degree.

Some rules of thumb to remember are this:

For the most part, less is more. Mixing up our different oils and herbs for one purpose should be done sparingly; think light and delicate vs. heavy and overwhelming.
Don't try to cover everything in your case in one session. Parcel things out and do one or two things at a time. Save the rest for the next session. Going back and forth like that is great; it allows your HD to get a message, process it, and then get another one.
With adjunct work, do it when you are feeling good about it. Dragging through adjunct work and doing it because you feel you “have to” isn't really helping anything. You are sending out subtle messages that you are begrudging your HD. You don't want to send that message out. Yes, you may feel like crying and all of that during some sessions, that is not the same thing; that is natural. You can easily cry during a session and still feel good about the work itself. It is a subtle difference, but it is a difference.

Anyway, back to the dolls themselves. If you have multiple dolls, consider putting them all together for a session. They can represent the different aspects of your HD (and if you have one of yourself from the deluxe love spell, of course put it in there with your HD!), they can represent different concepts that you are working on, etc. If you have three of them, they could represent Body, Mind, and Spirit! You could make a little mark on each one if you do that, and petition things that have to do with the Body with one, the Mind with another, the Spirit with yet another doll. It doesn't matter which you use for what, but in this way, you are dividing up your petitioning and focusing it much more into a pinpoint concept when you are trying to effect changes in your relationship with your HD.

You could divide up the time in one session to working with each doll individually, or you could use all three dolls as focal points for petitioning for one thing very strongly during a session. Next session try something different! You will find what works best for you and what your HD responds to. My point here is that if you have all of these products, then make them work their best for you. :-)

Also, remember dolls are a very, very powerful tools. Anything made in effigy of another person is a powerful tool! Therefore, remember that dolls should be used, as much as possible, in a positive manner. I have, on occasion, told a person that it is okay to tell the doll something to the effect of, “You have hurt me and at some point you will need to apologize and take responsibility for your actions with me.” However, petitions like this are not that useful unless you are actually in the relationship with your HD. If you are still working at getting in the relationship, it takes on a more negative tone. It makes your HD dread that day when s/he has to apologize for having done you wrong.

There are a lot of individual ways that a doll can be used and some things might be good for your case and some might not. That is why we recommend that you get with your caseworker if you have questions about what might be good for your individual case and what might not.

Some general ideas:

Use your love dolls, or doll, with white, pink, or red candle gender-specific candle magick kits. (See Chat Transcripts for further information on this.)
Use your love doll with a Red Mummy candle magick kit. This is super great for opening up communication with your HD.
Use your love doll with a Vivid Dreams or Magick Dream dream bag. In order to do this, do the love doll ritual first. Then do the ritual that comes with the dream bag, but instead of anointing yourself with the dream oil, anoint the doll. Instead of asking that you have a particular type of dream, ask that your HD have those dreams instead. Instead of putting your dream bag under your pillow, put it under your love doll's head. I am sure you get the idea. Just imagine that your HD was there and if you were going to do this ritual on him.
Use your love charm on your doll. Literally, just putting it on your doll will enhance the doll ritual itself. You could use the love charm on the doll while doing any of the other combo work. You could remove the charm for using it other ways, too.
Use your love doll with a Cosmic Voodoo® Love, Healing, or Destiny Egg. (The Destiny Egg could be used to petition for a “destiny” together with your HD.) See the chat transcripts for more information on using the Egg with the love doll.

QUESTION: Several candles are availabe in a 3-pack for use as M-B-S. And I
noticed there is a price break vs. buying three separately. MUST
they be used together for MBS? Or can I mix it up, using one from
each for the communication work and the other two for other things?
Would it need to be for the same general intention (the love work on
one person), or can I grab a candle from a 3-pack if, for example, I
want to do some healing work on a different person?

ANSWER: Yes, indeed. Please do take advantage of the price break that you get on the Body, Mind, Spirit pack if you are just looking to keep a nice stock of products around. You can definitely break them up and use them for different things.

QUESTION: I read the post/text about using the candle kits in conjunction with your love doll and I was wondering if that was feasible with the Black Mummy kit and if
so, how would that work, how do I do it?

ANSWER: The Black Mummy kit is not feasible for usage with your love doll. If you were working a revenge doll on someone, the Black Mummy kit would be a GREAT addition to that doll!

QUESTION: I also was hoping for a little elaboration re: St. Expedite candle usage--my understanding was to only use the same St. Expedite candle for one spell or
magickal working. Is that the case? I used a St. Expedite candle during my dlx love spell casting and completed the spell over a month ago and still have about 1/2 the St. Expedite candle left. I light it when I can to focus on my petition used during the dlx love spell casting. Is this ok? I thought lighting it and using it during other workings weakens its power (i.e., using this same candle and doing a Black Mummy kit). Or is it ok to use the candle for the same themes of petitions--love & healing or exclusively on HD--but not for the opposite theme or when doing the Black Mummies to break up a couple.
Did this make sense??!!

ANSWER: The St. Expedite candle is a great addition to your spell work! It's purpose, of course, is to help speed things along – get them moving more quickly in the right direction. You can use it during any spell kit or with any other work you are doing. However, you do need to stick to one “theme” -- you don't want to use the same St. Expedite candle with your Black Mummy as you did with your deluxe love spell kit. And this brings up a basic point: Be careful what you are mixing. A Black Mummy never belongs in a love spell. It's like using a revenge doll to make your HD love you – your “revenge” is that he will love you forever? Ugh. Is that really what you want in your life? (Not, “you” in particular, that was a rhetorical “you.”)

But, yes, you can use one St. Expedite candle with multiple products, as long as they are along the same subject matter: Keep love with love, getting rid of the intruder with getting rid of the intruder, etc.

QUESTION: Ok the love charm - if you live somewhere that you
cannot charge it with sun light the first time is
there a work around. I have a charm and do not get any sunlight in my
basement apartment. Tried and tried and no luck. The
drawbacks of living in a basement apartment are many.

ANSWER: Yes, that is a challenge. Some of our clients in Alaska have the same challenge at different parts of the year when they get no sun. There are some other ways to do it:

Put the charm underneath a sun lamp for the required amount of time.
Take it outside with you when you can: Sitting in the park for a little while, at the bustop, sidewalk cafe, whatever. Just let the sun hit it for a little while for several days in a row at shorter intervals. Before you know it, it will be charged.
In extreme cases, I have suggested that people get a picture of the sun, position it in front of the charm, and shine any kind of light on it, such as from a regular lamp. This is to get the charm “started” - you should do something to actually get it into the light when you can. But you can then at least start using the charm.

QUESTION: Another question pertains to last weeks chat where you state you could put the love charm on your doll. What if you have a few solo talismans would that work too?

ANSWER: Yes, definitely. If you have the Sacred Mysteries from solo castings, you can use it on your love doll just as you would the charm or putting it on your doll while you do the petition from your solo castings.

QUESTION: Could you elaborate more on using brown figure candles and other adjunct products for getting rid of a stubborn intruder?

ANSWER: Darn those stubborn intruders anyhow! Definitely one can use adjunct work for helping move the intruder along. It is important, of course, to take into consideration the circumstances. The degree of work and what you are petitioning for depends somewhat on what the intruder has done, if anything. For instance, did s/he knowingly take your HD away from you? If so, then there aren't too many restrictions on what you do in return. Or is your HD in a love-less marriage and you have been having an affair and now feel it is time for the HD to be with you and leave the husband/wife? (And as I mentioned in one of our chat sessions, no, that doesn't mean you have to spend your time petitioning for something good to happen for them, just don't spend your time petitioning for them to fall under a bus!)

Anyway, here are some combos you can use to help move along a stubborn intruder:

(This assumes, of course, that you have, at the least, done the LMMA or LMWA spell kit. The thing is that quite often within the LMMA/LMWA spell kit we are working on more than the intruder. We sometimes are working on negativities, fear of commitment, all kinds of things like that, so in trying to cover those multiple things, the kit can get spread kind of thin. Doing adjunct work allows us to more readily pinpoint the intruder and work solely on him/her. )

Before we get into adjunct work, remember, you can certainly consider doing the Go Away Man™ or Go Away Woman™ spell kit in addition to your LMMA or LMWA kit. This is especially useful if you have had to use your LMMA or LMWA kit to address a lot of other issues besides the intruder. This allows you to focus directly on the intruder. It is not a kit to necessarily wish any harm on the person – it's intent is quite clear – go away!
Brown male AND female image candles with a Black Mummy. This is a great combination, especially for an extremely stubborn intruder and a good way to cause discord between your HD and the intruder. But this one is tricky and needs to be done properly. This is also for a specific intruder, NOT something such as “all women but me” type of petitioning.

How to use them: The Black Mummy is going to be in the middle of the two different brown candles, one that is you use to represent your HD, one that you use to represent the intruder. Have the two candles face each other. Get the two brown candles going with their ritual, your petition is that there is fighting, distaste, discord, repugnance, whatever between these two people. Then get your Black Mummy candle going. Now, turn the brown candles so that they are facing AWAY from each other. Do your Black Mummy petitions that they will turn away from each other now and forever. Let the candles burn for however long you are doing the session. Now here's the deal, at NO TIME do you mention yourself or put yourself into the equation in any way – no “leave Susie and come to me, Judy” - just “leave Susie” - save the “come to me” for some other work. Also, at NO TIME are you angry or upset with your HD! You are simply using this candle to get him/her away from this intruder.

3. Brown gender image candles and a revenge doll. This is for using on an intruder who has brought harm to you – is taking your spouse away from you or you and your children, knows about you but has shown that they are in this to win him/her away from you, has threatened you, has caused bodily harm to you, has caused you problems on the job, etc. In other words, this is for a nasty intruder – feel free to fight back. In this case, you would use the same gender as the intruder for the brown candle and use it with a revenge doll. The set up is pretty much the same as we had discussed, actually for using a gender candle with the love doll! Just that this is something you only want to do when there is clear evidence that this intruder means to harm you and your lifestyle and you have done nothing to warrant it. I would strongly suggest discussing this with your caseworker before embarking on this work.
